One folder/one design/ several looks

I saw another demonstrator who had used silver/cream and this design and thought it would look great with other colors, too. I loved that it looked elegant & was simple to make at the same time. I changed up the colors, sentiment, and even embossed a strip of card stock to substitute for ribbon when I didn't have the coordinating color. This uses the new SU Vintage folder.

I created this card for the cropstop blog. I used the new Monster Cricut Companin set for this card - the candy folder out of the set. I love how an emossing folder can create a nice card quickly! The image is cut from patterned paper. I added some Glossy Accents on top of the candy to make them look kind of like a wrapper, and more TH black enamel on the Treat to make it stand out, black stickles added to the monster sleeve. I'm not sure why but the camera wouldnt do a nice close-up of the candy for me. So.. as you can see you don't need to have the coordinating Cricut cartridge to use these folders. I can imagine this one also paired with birthday cards, holiday, etc.

CB Embossing Plus

For this card I used the new Cuttlebug Embossing Plus folder Blooming Bouquet. It is so cool!! The card stock is all SU - Cherry Cobbler, Black, & Whisper White. After I cut/embossed the design I left it in the folder and inked the image. It was so easy this way & gets exactly where you want it. I think I may need a few more of these! Clean up of the folder was easy I just sprayed stamp cleaner on a paper towel and it wiped right off of the folder. Sentiment stamps are SU, Nesties Labels 6 for the sentiment. I added a little bling in the center and some black nailheds around it. On the Labels 6 I used more of the TH black enamel. This stuff is awesome! The inside of the card I used the MS Embroidered Floral punch.

Personalized Pink ATG

Here is a video that shows you how I personalized my new pink ATG gun. It is easy, quick, and easy to ID your own!

I Love Monsters

Here is a LO I did for the cropstop August sketch challenge. I substituted he circles for squares though. I also have some pic of the TH white enamel. I love this stuff! I used it for the teeth on the monster instead of cutting those teeny tiny pieces out.. plus it adds dimension. By the way on the top of the top picture the saying is, "Have you hugged your monster today?". I thought it fit right in with some of the kiddos issues lately. LOL!

Chocolate Goodness

I made 6 of these to put in a gift basket. For some reason I have only recently discovered I do like background stamps. Guess what I pulled out of my old stash for these? Liquid Applique! This stuff is perfect for the marshmellow. If you hold you heat gun on it a few extra seconds it actually even turns a little brown. Normally that would not be a good thing, but in this case it looks just like a marshmellow. My son touched it & asked me if I put a real marshmellow on it... it even feels like it! For some reason I have only recently discvered that I like background stamps so I used a polka dot one on this. The stamp is from SU.
