Mirror, mirror - Who is the Cutest?

Many times when I think of my Nestabilities I think of card making. Today I wanted to show you how they do work well with scrapooking also. When I started this layout I thought I would use the Big Scalloped Circles as a template for my journaling. Then I thought they would also make great clouds. But, what fit best in my layout was to make them look like a mirror. I used the largest one as a frame and the next size as the mirror. I put my daughter's initials on the mirror so that she is the answer to the question. Of course, I am totally biased!

Father's Day Classic Truck card

I created this card for cropstop.blogspot.com. I am sure there are a few of you who, like me, still need to finish their Father's Day cards. I recently got this stamp and wanted to make my Father's Day cards this year with it. The shiny paper that I embossed with the Diamond Plate folder is actually out of a toy packaging my hubby asked if I could use it for something and I snatched it right up!! Little did he know I intended to use it on his card! The truck image is embossed in black and colored in with Red Pepper alcohol ink. I used one of the cotton toppers to move the red where I wanted it. The silver accents are snaps and the sentiment is punched out. All of the red edges are inked in black.
