Grab Bag Cards

OK.  I got some of those grab bags from several months ago when Stampin' Up! first put them out.  I debated about posting these because they aren't my normal style, but I guess they are ok.  Perhaps if you got the same grab bag it will give you some ideas, too.  All of the die cuts and card bases were included in the grab bag.  The white panels and punched pieces I added from my scraps.

Summer Smooches Sneak Peek

I just got this delivered to my door TODAY!! I had to try it!  This is a new Bigz L purse die that will be available with the Stampin' Up! Summer Smooches.  The cardstock is Rich Razzleberry embossed with a SU embossing plate.  The DSP on the flap is also Summer Smooches DSP, flower punches & one of the big pearls from the Spring Mini.  I included it next to a soda can so you can get an idea of the size.  It is not huge by any means, but perfect for a lip gloss, little candies, etc.  I have 2 Lindor Truffles inside of it.  It is REALLY simple & easy to put together, too.

Sunny Day cards

I used this design I saw in a YouTube video by Our Daily Bread.  The designer used Cottage Wall DSP which is the same pattern just different colors as the Sunny Day DSP that I used...couldn't find my Cottage Wall for some reason.  You can see one of the cards I used my left over scraps & rotated the design to get another card out of the same package of DSP - just different base colors.  The green is Pear Pizzaz I'm not sure why it looks so muted in the picture??

The cards where the Poppy Parade is the main color I also embossed the background with the Lattice folder to mute it and give it a little texture.

Masculine/ Elegant Thank You

My husband needed some more masculine type thank you cards that he could use.  (I guess he doesn't much care to give a floral card ..  :) ha ha!).  I found this open pack of retired DSP (I think maybe it is Manchester?).  At first I tried just with Very Vanilla and the Crumb Cake colors but it was too drab.  I added the Almost Navy & it gave it a nice pop.  The label dies are the new Stampin' Up! framelits.  The Almost Navy border down the center is a new EK Success border punch.  I think this is quite likely the first time I have actually used Almost Navy!

SCS F4A103 Rainbows Challenge Card

This is the first SCS challenge I have completed.  The challenge was to use rainbows.  I made about 12 of the all occasion "hi there" & 12 "Happy Birthday".  I have a bunch of this green color to use & since I could basically choose any color in my rainbow I chose the green.. plus it is springy (which I am ready for!).  The punched butterfies are Martha Stewart butterfly punches.  The embossing folder is called Butterfly Kisses by Crafts Concepts.

Class Valentines

I found these fun & cute stickers in the $1 bin at Target awhile back & thought they would be perfect for my son's class Valentines.  I used Real Red cardstock, embossed Whisper White cardstock with the hearts Cuttlebug folder, punched 3" red circles & 2.5" white circles.. put it all together & voila.. done! It only took me an hour or two to make 26 of these.  I added a cute little valentine cello bag & some treats - no envelopes they looked so cute with the cards showing.

Celebrate Today/ Happy Birthday

I am trying to use up partial packages of Designer Paper that I have around.  This DSP is from Sale-A-Bration 2 years ago I belive.  I matted the DSP on white & black paper.  The die around the sentiment is the new SU Labels Framelits collection.  They are very similar concept to other nesting dies.  I love them! I also used the SU Doily Triple Layer punch.  I added a lot of white dots to coordinate with the dots on the DSP.  The color of the DSP is certainly celery, the pink is regal rose.  I used scraps of the DSP to decorate the inside with the eyelet border punch & the retired triple blossom punch.  I finished the flowers with a black skittle in the middle.
